How blessed are we to be able to live the lives we live? Of course, bad things happen, as it will always be, but looking at the bigger picture—we are so free.
After having a great time in Whistler this past weekend, it made appreciate God’s greatness and power, and how beautifully He created this world. It also made me think about how many great things I have to be thankful for in my life; I have love from my family, my friends, I have health, energy, and safety. I have an imagination and a desire to be in positive relationship with others. I have a little bit of spending money, and really fun toys. I live in a beautiful country, that begs me to explore it. I have a brain, a spirit, and a soul.
My hope is that I can and will still be ever-thankful, when life doesn’t seem as good on the outside.
That is why the biggest and best thing I have, is a love and desire from my Creator. And even though I forget sometimes, He always manages to remind me somehow.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
